Radio production is our soft spot, and a huge part of what we do. We’ve built some amazing relationships with both the BBC and commercial radio over the years.
Bengo Media was trusted to launch the brand new early breakfast show on Europe’s biggest radio station, BBC Radio 2, back in 2023. The Owain Wyn Evans Early Breakfast Show comes live from BBC Cymru Wales every weekday morning, produced by our fabulous team. It was the first daytime show outside of London for the station. We nurtured a new presenter into the slot, created a new content strategy, came up with brand new features and completely revamped the clock for the show. We love every minute of it, even the 3am alarm call..., and we couldn't be prouder of it.
We’re one of BBC Radio 2s trusted radio production companies, producing specialist music shows like Sounds of the 90s New Years Eve Specials, Dance Sounds of the 80s and documentaries like Great British Bands That Broke America and When Wales Welcomes The King.
2024 saw us selected as one the BBC’s Indie Development Fund companies, working with BBC Radio 5 Live. And in 2025, we've been re-selected to work with Radio 1.
