Jenni Field’s Audiobook: Influential Internal Communication
Jenni Field is a business communications strategist. In April 2021, Jenni published the hardcopy of her book – which has a focus on “helping leaders and teams develop skills in productivity and resilience and diagnosing what’s really causing the chaos inside organisations.”
Jenni then decided to make her book into an audiobook to ensure her content was accessible to everybody. Plus, she personally loves an audiobook! Jenni says “by doing so, it has given us additional sales of the book while simultaneously allowing us to reach our target audience of business leaders a little easier as we tend to find they listen, rather than read.”

What We Did
Making an audiobook is a big, sometimes daunting project. We held Jenni’s hand through the whole process, ensuring support at every stage. Particularly guiding her through the recording process as Jenni self-narrated her audiobook. The self-narrating process can be “taxing” as Jenni describes it but our producer was on hand to assist – topping her up with throat sweets as we went – and ensuring the best quality end product. Which was appreciated by many listeners, including this Amazon listener who left a 5 star review: “This audiobook is exquisitely articulated and produced.”
