What We Did
The Leaders’ Lounge was an original concept series that we developed around the 2019 General Election as a podcast series for BBC Sounds. We were over the moon when it was commissioned and culminated in a live, ‘post-game’ analysis the morning after the election on BBC Radio Wales.
Fronted by the Betsan Powys, current host of Pawb a’i Farn (considered to be S4C’s equivalent Welsh language version of Question Time), and the former BBC Wales Political Editor, The Leaders’ Lounge was re-commissioned as a radio programme on BBC Radio Wales for the 2021 Senedd Election.
We assembled and co-ordinated the skilled production and presentation team which:
- researched and briefed the presenters for each show
- recorded show ‘as live’
- edited and delivered the finished product to the BBC in a same day turnaround.
